Rakuten Drive Breach: Attackers Viewed Stored Files of 15,382 Users for Eight Months
Rakuten's cloud storage service says attackers used stolen administrator credentials to view and take files stored by 15,382 users between January and September 2026. In August, after fake push notifications reached users, it had said no unauthorized access to stored data had been found.
